‘Criss-Cross Apple Sauce’ means to sit on your butt, cross-legged and hands crossed on your lap. It’s something we picked up from daycare a long time ago and we still use it to let Bryce know when we want him to sit nicely.

Bryce folds his hands together and walks up to strangers and says, “You do Criss-Cross Apple Sauce” and gets people to cross their hands too. It’s really cute. Now we want to see YOU Criss-Cross Apple Sauce!
